Figs & Monkey's
There is a monkey at the zoo who is off exhibit becuase she is old and sadly has cancer. However she is well taken care of, gets lots of attention, and even gets treats.
I have a fig tree growing between my back yard and my neighbors. So I talked to one of the keepers and found out that Sylvia (the monkey) loves kiwi and would probably like fresh figs. So I got permission to bring some in and give them to her.
Boy - did she LOVE them!
She gobbled up both figs quickly - though on one she did not eat all the fruit/skin - I don't think that little section was 100% ripe. I love how animals know stuff like that.
I love how she is using only her feet and her tail to support her in both pictures :)

Mmmhhhmm...caught ya monkeying around with the monkey. I'd be even more jealous if you where feeding the red Panda or the Meircats (though I think one of the zoo snakes really likes me cause I growled at the unattended child that was banging on the glass and made him run away crying).
